Tewksbury Inn Chef Chris Quintile is clearly one of the finest in the region. Time after time the food is consistently brilliant. The menu is creative, the ever changing specials are superb and the atmosphere blends sophistication with the local pub feel.
If you like soup, he is a master. On this fine evening the special for the day was ginger carrot soup and it slide down the throat into a belyl that was grinning with delight. Three cheers for the bread selection and the inclusion of olive oil on all the tables giving you an alternative to butter.
As a main course we sampled the mahi mahi, It was fantastic, moist and blended with capers olives and an assortment of crisp vegetable.
The final word on the meal …. Perfect, we highly recommend a trip to Oldwick, especially for a first date, a birthday or anniversary, you will soak in the atmosphere and float through the meal
