FRENCHTOWN, NJ – Richard E. Zeh, 81, of Frenchtown, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at his home.

Born March 10, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, Richard lived in Brooklyn until moving to the family farm in Frenchtown, NJ. He attended Frenchtown High School. Richard worked as a poultry farmer on the farm for many years. Richard also worked at Lipton Tea in Flemington for 20 years. Richard was a former member of the Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Department, as well as the Kingwood Township Rescue Squad. He enjoyed working on the farm, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.

Son of the late Erich and Marie Rose Zeh, Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Lekeria (Zelinsky) Zeh, his sons Christian R. Zeh and Richard J. Zeh and his wife Robin, all of Frenchtown, NJ, his grandchildren Evan Zeh and Derrick Zeh, and his great-grandson Keith. He was predeceased by his brother Erich E. Zeh.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
