Richard “Nick” Frankevich, age 70, resident of Pulaski since 2005, formerly of High Bridge, NJ, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Richard was born November 25, 1946 in Raritan, NJ the son of Nicholas and Virginia Bell Frankevich. He graduated from High Bridge High School in 1965. Richard married Sandra Drosdick in 1998. He was employed by A&P Markets for 41 years, retiring in 2005. Richard was a member of High Bridge Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years, and he was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra, one son, Edward Frankevich of NJ, two stepdaughters, Christine (Chip) Woodworth of Oswego and Cynthia (Chuck) Tayburn of Bushkill, PA, two stepsons, Brian (Jacqueline) Drennon of Washington, NJ and Doug (Barbara) Drennon of Las Vegas, NV, one brother Robbie (Joan) Frankevich of Girdwood, AK, one niece Emma Frankevich of Alaska and eight grandchildren.
Calling Hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9th, at the Foster -Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski, NY. Additional calling hours will take place on Friday August 11th from 10am to 12pm followed by Funeral Service at 12pm at Naughright-Scarponi Funeral Home, 66 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ
