Richard P. Sinkbeil
MILFORD, NJ – Richard P. Sinkbeil, 73, of Milford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at home.
Born April 20, 1942 in Washington Township, NJ, Richard lived there before moving to Milford over fifty years ago. Richard worked as a tractor trailer truck driver for 38 years prior to working as a fleet manager at Nestle Waters of North America before retiring. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Richard enjoyed going to car shows, especially at Joe’s Steak Shop and Ahart’s Market in Phillipsburg, NJ, where he was affectionately known as “Richie Ratrod”. Richard enjoyed NASCAR and was a Green Bay Packers fan.
Son of the late Frederick and Florence (Jensen) Sinkbeil, Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Gail (Musco) Sinkbeil, his son Michael Todd Sinkbeil of Kingwood Twp, NJ, his daughter Heather Torok and her husband Ronald, Jr. of Palmer Twp, PA, his sisters Patricia Cooke of Hope, NJ, and Dawn Paulus of Phillipsburg, NJ, his grandchildren Brenna, Michael P., Devin, Alayna, and Addison, his great-grandson Ryker, and his faithful dog, Katie. He was predeceased by his son Richard Bart Sinkbeil and his sister Nancy Gail Sinkbeil.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow at the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
