Richard “Ricky” W. Marriott, Jr., 58

Richard “Ricky” W. Marriott, Jr., 58 died Tuesday at his home. 


A lifelong resident of Lambertville, Ricky was a graduate of South Hunterdon Regional High School, Class of 1975 and was a self employed handyman and caretaker. He was well known for participating in the Open Mic nights at John and Peter’s in New Hope, Pa. Ricky was a United States Navy Veteran serving as a Field Medical Service Technician, an avid collector of military memorabilia and had been a former member of the American Legion Toscanni Post #120 in Lambertville. 


Son of the late Joan Ettenger Marriott, he is survived by his father Richard W. Marriott, Sr., one sister Joan Shafer, two brothers, Douglas Marriott and his wife Katherine, John Marriott and his wife Theresa, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. 


Funeral service will be held Tuesday April 14, 10:00 am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, Pa. Visitation will be Monday from 7-9 pm at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.
