Robert Case, Jr. age 56 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died suddenly Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.
Born in Flemington, NJ at the Hunterdon Medical Center, January 20, 1961, son of Robert Case, Sr. and the late Dorothy Winder Case, he was a lifelong Hunterdon County resident.
Bob grew up in East Amwell Township where as a teenager he would often work for local farmers. His interest in the electrical trade brought him to work for William Kreig Electric for many years. After marrying his wife, Sheila and starting a family, he opened Robert Case, Jr. Electrical Contractor in 1989. His business became his passion. He was also a longtime member of the Hunterdon County Electrical Contractors Association.
Bob always enjoyed reminiscing and telling stories about local places and people he had met and worked with in the Flemington area. He loved his family, dining out with friends, and had a knack for creative cooking. Flea markets, collecting things of personal sentimental value, going to concerts and movies, the occasional Broadway show, and weekend getaways to Atlantic City filled his free time. Bob’s unique sense of humor brought joy to those around him.
Surviving are his loving wife of thirty-two years, Sheila Case; two sons, Robert Case, III and his wife, Michelle of Annandale, NJ and Brandon Case of Kingwood, NJ; his father, Robert Case, Sr.; and two sisters, Debbie Bahrt of Easton, PA and Jeanne Jones of Pennsylvania. Bob was pre-deceased by his mother and one brother, Charles Jones.
