Ronald A. Hoffman, age 72, of Harmony, NJ passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Easton, PA.
He was born on August 13, 1942 in Califon, NJ and has been a lifelong resident of New Jersey.
Ronald was the son of the late Archie A. and Angie L. Ader Hoffman.
He worked for many years as a herdsman on the family dairy farms in both Round Valley and Lambertville, NJ before working for Squibb Pharmaceutical in their animal care department. Before retiring, he worked as a trade laborer with AM Masonry in Pattenburg, NJ.
Ronald loved the outdoors. He liked to tend to his garden, birdwatch, ride his bike and go for long walks. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an avid reader. He was a past member of Future Farmers of America.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Kip Jiorle and her husband John of Harmony Twp., NJ and Wendy Nocella and her husband Joe of Alexandria Twp., NJ. 2 grandsons; Nicholas Nocella and Vincent Nocella, both of Alexandria Twp., NJ. 3 sisters; Betty Hoffman of High Bridge, NJ, Lois Voorhees of Lebanon, NJ and Carol Hudecek of Annandale, NJ. Many nieces and nephews. Former wife; Lorrie Hoffman of Harmony Twp., NJ.
Predeceased by 1 sister; Jean E. Hoffman.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 9am to 12noon followed by a funeral service at 12 noon. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment at Fairmont Cemetery.
