Roseann Hogrebe, 82, of Lebanon, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 1, 2016.

Roseann was born in Johnstown, PA. and moved to Wilkes Barre, PA, as a child.

Roseann is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leonard C. Hogrebe, of Lebanon NJ, sons Wayne and his wife Donna of Lebanon, NJ, Gregory of Easton, PA, Richard and his significant other LouAnn Polewski of Lake Ariel, PA , William and his wife Mary of Bloomsbury, NJ, Grandsons Conner and Callen of Lebanon, NJ, and Scott and David of Three Bridges, NJ, and a daughter-in-law Sharon of Three Bridges, NJ.

Roseann is also survived by two sisters, Mary of Wilkes Barre, PA, Kathleen and her husband Frank of Wilkes Barre, PA, and a brother William, and his wife Gerry of Wilkes Barre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Roseann was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, sons Leonard and Kevin, a daughter-in-law Angela, and two brothers, Jack and Richard.

Roseann and her husband Leonard moved to Hillsborough, NJ in 1964, where they lived until moving to Lebanon in 1979. During that time, in addition to raising six sons, Roseann helped her husband start the family business, Apple Tree Landscaping, where she continued to work throughout most of her life.

Roseann loved to sing, and was a member of the choir at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station where she was also a Parishioner for many years. Roseann was also an avid reader, and enjoyed going to exercise and yoga classes. One of Roseann’s favorite pastimes was wandering through rummage sales, where she was known to have come up with many great “finds” over the years. Roseann was known for her keen sense of observation- she never “missed a trick”.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 390 County Road 523, Whitehouse Station, NJ.  Interment at Mountain View Cemetery in Cokesbury, NJ.
