RUNNING RED LIGHT STONED

On Thursday, January 7, at approximately 1:15 pm, an officer stopped a 2013 Chevrolet
Malibu operated by Daniel Perry, age 29, of Hamilton Township, for failing to stop for a
red light on Route 31 North at Route 618. During the stop, the officer detected the odor
of marijuana inside of the vehicle and also observed a pack of rolling papers in plain
view. A subsequent search produced a bag of marijuana and related paraphernalia. As a
result, Mr. Perry was charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana,
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a
Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Failure to Stop at Red Light. He was released
ROR.
