Every October, the Annual Rutgers State Master Gardener Association Conference is held at the Cook Student Center of Rutgers University.  It is a day of continuing education and award acknowledgement, where Master Gardener volunteers who contribute high levels of services, are chosen by their county to receive “Awards of Excellence.”

The two teams from the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Hunterdon County program who received the state awards are: the Enrichment and Workshop Team, co-led by Rae Narasimhan and Peggy Moskway; and, the Newsletter Team, co-led by Susan Haake and Andrea Cavallaro. These teams were selected because of their dedication and tireless leadership in providing continuing education programs and digital communications, respectively.

There is still space in the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Hunterdon County new intern class, which begins on January 17, 2017. Please contact the Rutgers Cooperative Extension at 908-788-1338 for an application.
