Students interested in learning more about the Automotive Technology program at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) are invited to attend one of three upcoming Information Sessions this summer. Automotive Technology Information Sessions are scheduled for Thursdays, June 11, June 18 and July 2.
All sessions will be held from 3:30-5 p.m., in the Bateman Student Center (BC-103) at the College’s Branchburg Campus. During the sessions prospective students will have an opportunity to learn about the innovative and successful program, meet with faculty, and explore the exciting career potential in the field of automotive technology. Participants also will learn about the Certificate of Professional Competency that will be awarded to program graduates. The certificate is specifically designed to help students stand out to potential employers. In designing the Automotive Technology program, RVCC’s education team partnered with local employers and expert workers to detail the knowledge, skills, traits and behaviors essential to becoming a successful Automotive Entry Tech. The program has been highly praised by area employers. Classes are held weekdays, five-and-a-half hours each day, at the Auto Technology facility on Route 22 in Whitehouse Station.
