RVCC to Offer Lifeguarding Training and Recertification Classes

Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) will offer Lifeguarding Training and Recertification classes in April. The following courses will be held at the College’s Branchburg Campus: American Red Cross Lifeguarding Training: Students ages 15 to adult learn how to provide care for people experiencing breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel arrive on the scene. The class will be held Friday, April 1, from 5-9 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, April 2-3, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. It will be repeated April 15-17 at the same times. The fee per session is $295. American Red Cross Lifeguarding Recertification: Students ages 15 to adult review course information and practice skills and knowledge before testing for Lifeguarding Recertification. Current certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED is required to participate. The class will be held Saturday-Sunday, April 2-3, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. It will repeated April 16-17 at the same times. The fee per session s $100.
