Senior Artists celebrate the 1742 Union Iron Works anniversary

In celebration of the 275th Anniversary of the Union Iron Works of Hunterdon County, county artists participated in the Union Forge Heritage Association’s Senior Artists Art Show and judging competition.  First place winner was a group composed entry from the Country Arch Care Center in Clinton and their mosaic composition of the 1742 Allen Homestead in Union Township.  In the background from left to right are UFHA Trustees Susan Haake, Jane Kiceniuk and UFHA President Michael Gronsky Jr. who are surrounding the winning entry.  In the foreground are several of the participating artists who composed the winning entry.   The winning entry received a first place award plaque, appreciation certificate, ribbon and a cash prize along with a gift basket of art supplies.
