The Small Biz Networking Meetup gathers every 3rd Tuesday of each month , at the Flemington Raritan Diner’s Banquet Room on Rte. 31. From 11:30am-1:15pm. The Meetup group is proud to announce the next Guest Speaker at the June 21st event, Rob Bell. Rob is a member of the Meetup group, and also runs and organizes the LambertvilleEmmy Award winning television journalist Rob Bell founded Green Birdie Productions in 2007. GBV specializes in creating television commercials and websites for local businesses. Rob also has a green screen studio in Lambertville, NJ for special effects video productions including music videos and corporate videos. His video production website is www.greenbirdievideo.com.
In September of 2014, Rob started www.panjradio.com, a digital radio station serving the river towns of Lambertville and New Hope, Pa., and Bucks, Hunterdon and Mercer counties. PA NJ Radio has a local news broadcast, eight original local radio shows per week, and promotes indie music by local artists.
Prior to starting his own companies, Rob worked in the broadcast industry’s #1 New York demographic market for 28 years as a reporter, producer, videographer, writer and editor at professional venues including FOX Television, WWOR-TV, Sports Channel, Madison Square Garden and News 12 Long Island. Rob is extremely creative and experienced at telling stories succinctly and visually. His skill at writing (he has written two novels and thousands of television spots) combined with his extensive technical expertise has made Rob extremely comfortable with all aspects of video production and presentation. Besides his Emmy for his series on “dangerous jobs,” Rob has won numerous awards including a prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for a series on “Irish Emigration” produced in Ireland, A New York State Broadcaster’s Association Programming Award for a three year series on unsolved criminal case files that led to the arrest of a dozen murderers and armed robbers, and News Corporation’s highly coveted “Most Valuable Employee Of The Year” Award.” Rob also founded Network Lambertville in 2010, and they meet on the first Thursday of each month at his studio.
