Somerset Patriots Preparing For Opening Day Championship Ceremony And Fireworks Featured

The Somerset Patriots will host Opening Day at TD Bank Ballpark on Thursday, April 21st to kick off the 2016 Atlantic League season. The game includes a Postgame Fireworks Show presented by the Somerset Health Care Foundation.

The Opening Day festivities will feature a Championship Celebration honoring the 2015 Atlantic League champion Somerset Patriots. The pregame, on-field ceremony will begin around 6:30 pm and include the presentation of the championship rings to returning players and coaches, as well as the raising of the 2015 championship flag.


The pregame festivities will also include special videos looking back at the 2015 season, introduction of the 2016 roster, and other presentations. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to be able to enjoy all the pregame activities.

The Somerset Patriots will take on the Long Island Ducks at 7:05 pm, the team that Somerset defeated in the Liberty Division Championship Series to advance to the Atlantic League Championship Series.



All fans in attendance will receive a 2016 Magnetic Schedule presented by the Somerset Health Care Foundation.
