Stacy Kontir of High Bridge, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 30th, 2015.
Stacy was a well-known part of the animal rescue community, working with various rescues and rehabilitation programs throughout the tri-state. Stacy served as the Store Manager at Pet Valu in Clinton for 3 years, where she gained a loyal following of customers who she often called friends.
For those who knew Stacy, she was a dedicated, loving and generous friend. She was a beacon of positivity and passion. Stacy was a huge voice in the fight against animal cruelty and reducing the number of homeless pets. As some have said, ‘Stacy always had a home for those who needed it most’.
Stacy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph Kontir and her family of furbabies.
