Stella M. Stoneback, age 101, of Pittstown, NJ passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Country Arch Care Center.
She was born on December 20, 1915 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She resided in Pittstown, NJ for the past 6 years, moving from Lebanon, NJ.
She was the daughter of the late Julio and Isobel Bueno.
Her husband, Carl D. Stoneback Sr. passed away 15 years ago after 66 years of marriage.
She was the Assistant to the Superintendent at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, NJ until her retirement in 1974.
Stella was a very talented Artist. While she was living in Florida years ago, she taught private art lessons in Dunedin, FL. She loved to paint and she was known for hand painting her Christmas cards.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Stewart Chapter #166 in High Bridge, NJ.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Elizabeth A. Mills of Lebanon, NJ. 1 son; Carl D. Jr. and his wife Helen Stoneback of Asbury, NJ. 2 granddaughters; Heather Crowe and Samantha Koch. 4 great-grandchildren. 1 brother; Charles Gonzalez and his wife Bonnie of Arcadia, CA. She is also survived by her sister-in-law; Ruth McBride of Annandale, NJ.
Predeceased in addition to her husband by her son-in-law; David Mills who passed away in 2012 and her brother; Edwardo Bueno.
