STRANGER IN BUILDING FORCES LOCK DOWN OF HIGH BRIDGE SCHOOL

On March 1, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. the High Bridge Elementary School was placed in a lockdown as a result of a visitor that failed to sign in at the Main Office. School staff promptly initiated lockdown protocols as per procedure. The High Bridge Borough Police responded, being assisted by the Lebanon Township Police, Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and Hunterdon County Office of Emergency Management. There was no credible threat found, the lockdown was released and students returned to regular activities.
