The Hunterdon County Planning Board is pleased to host the first event of the 2015 Breakfast Talk series on Wednesday May 20, 2015. In a departure from the typical “Breakfast Talk,” format this program is designed as an interactive discussion between municipal mayors, planners, DPW directors and county department heads about how to better share services and costs and how to plan for future potential efficiencies. After a brief presentation by select county department heads, attendees will have direct access to the presenters to brain storm, problem solve and plan.
The event will take place from 7:30 am – 9:00 am in the Main Assembly Room in Building 1 of the Route 12 County Complex in Flemington, NJ.
Freeholder Deputy Director Suzanne Lagay, will facilitate the interactive discussions subsequent to the presentations of selected key Hunterdon County Department Heads. This event will illustrate County capabilities, share success stories and outline the process where municipalities and businesses can seek potential shared service opportunities.
Look for a more detailed agenda to follow.
The County recently updated the County Shared Services website. Please take time to review the site and come to the event with questions and comments. You can get there from the following link: www.co.hunterdon.nj.us/sharedservices.html
We are especially encouraging participation from Hunterdon County municipal Mayors, Business Administrators, planners and Public Works Directors. All interested citizens are also welcome.
The Breakfast Talk events are free and light refreshments will be served. Historically there has been a strong response to the events and we are asking you to please RSVP with reservation, as space may become limited. Please respond no later than Wednesday, May 13; you may call Josie Glynn (908) 788-1490, or email, email@example.com to RSPVP or for further information.
