Thelma M. Wilson
FORMERLY OF EVERITTSTOWN, NJ – Thelma M. Wilson, 89, formerly of Everittstown, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Gardens for Memory Care in Easton, PA.
Born April 28, 1927 in Everittstown, NJ, Thelma lived most of her life there. She graduated from Frenchtown High School. Thelma worked as a clerk for Alexandria Township for 10 years, retiring in 1989. Prior to that, she drove a school bus for Alexandria Township School for 23 years. Thelma enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Everittstown United Methodist Church for over 60 years. Thelma was also a member of the Frenchtown Senior Citizens, United Methodist Women of the Church, and volunteered at Delaware Valley Health Center.
Daughter of the late Earl and Jennie (Sutton) Rounsaville, Thelma is survived by her son Leslie A. Wilson, Jr. of Cleveland, GA, her two daughters Linda M. Fox of Hampton, NJ and Donna J. Wilson of Asbury, NJ, her 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie A. Wilson, Sr., her two sisters Lillian Ellis and Alice Pinkerton, and her brother Marvin Rounsaville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alexandria Township, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM and Friday morning from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
