Theodore “Ted” Deptulski

On May 31st, Theodore “Ted” Deptulski of Flemington was killed by a van as he was crossing Rt 202 at 5:00am on his way to a teaching assignment.

Ted was the son of Valentine and Mary Deptulski of Brooklyn, New York. He attended Brooklyn Tech and finished his college degree in his early 60s. He was employed at AT&T for 35 years starting as a technician and progressed quickly to a management position. 

After retiring, Ted enjoyed substitute teaching, where he brought his own unique perspective to the subject matter. In addition, he loved his interaction with the students.

Ted had many life-long friends who have been his loyal buddies over the years. 

Ted is survived by his brother, Vincent Dean and his wife Sheila of Washington, DC; his nephew Eric Dean and his wife Hilary of Columbia, MD; his niece Valerie Dean O’Loughlin and her husband Robert and their daughter Erin of Bloomington, IN.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5th from 6-8pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 US 202 North, Three Bridges, New Jersey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 6th at 9:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, New Jersey.
