@ approximately 9:50 PM – Police arrested Victoria V. Paul, age 24 and Jamila L. Paul, age 23, both of Raritan Township and charged each with offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Voorhees Corner Road. Victoria was initially stopped for following too close and failure to maintain lane control. She was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. Victoria was found to have an active warrant issued for her arrest out of Sea Girt Municipal Court ($707.00 bail). Sea Girt Police Department elected to release Victoria on her own recognizance with a new court date. Jamila was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. The vehicle was towed and both Victoria and Jamila were released after processing at police headquarters. Investigation and arrest by Cpl. Christopher Vallat.
