On Tuesday, June 28, at approximately 11:50 am, a 2015 Toyota Corolla operated by Caldonia Hart, age 20, of Glen Gardner, was traveling south on Route 641 near Williams Way when the vehicle slid off of the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage, the airbags deployed, and it had to be towed from the scene. Ms. Hart was transported to the Hunterdon Medical Center for treatment of apparent minor injuries. On Wednesday, June 29, at approximately 1:10 pm, a 1994 Toyota Camry operated by Raymond Mora-Padilla, age 44, of Flemington, was traveling north on Route 629 when a 2006 GMC Sierra operated by Lawrence Rokhvarg, age 23, of Franklin Lakes, made a left turn in front of the Mora-Padilla vehicle at the intersection with Route 621. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and both had to be towed from the scene. Mr. Mora-Padilla was transported to the Hunterdon Medical Center for treatment of apparent minor injuries. The investigating officer issued Mr. Rokhvarg a motor vehicle summons for Careless Driving. On Wednesday, June 29, at approximately 5:55 pm, a 2001 Jeep Wrangler operated by Alex Kane, age 17, of Flemington, was traveling in the right lane of Route 31 South when Mr. Kane attempted to make a left turn across the divided highway in order to travel east onto Payne Road. As he did, Mr. Kane’s vehicle was struck by a 2000 Volkswagon Jetta operated by Yan Lim, age 58, of Allentown (NJ), which was traveling Route 31 South in the left lane. The Kane vehicle then overturned but landed upright. The Lim vehicle also overturned and came to rest on its roof, entrapping Ms. Lim inside until she was extricated. Mr. Kane and a sixteen (16) year-old female passenger were transported to the Hunterdon Medical Center for apparent minor injuries. Ms. Lim was also transported to the Hunterdon Medical Center for treatment of chest and arm injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed from the roadway. The investigating officer issued Mr. Kane motor vehicle summonses for Improper Turning and Careless Driving.
