TWO MEN INDICTMENT FOR BURGLARY AND THEFT IN READINGTON

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the indictment of Brian J.
Cromen, age 41, of Branchburg, NJ, and Kwame O. Bey, age 34, of Piscataway, NJ, by a
Hunterdon County Grand Jury on October 19, 2017.
Mr. Cromen was indicted for four counts of 3rd degree Burglary, four counts of 3rd degree Theft, 2nd degree Eluding, 3rd degree Attempted Burglary, 4th degree Obstructing
Administration of Law, and 4th degree Criminal Mischief. Mr. Bey was indicted two counts of 3rd degree Burglary, two counts of 3rd degree Theft, 3rd degree Attempted Burglary, and 4th degree Obstruction the Administration of Law.
Mr. Cromen and Mr. Bey are scheduled to be arraigned in Hunterdon Superior Court on October 30, 2017.
The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
