Union Forge Heritage Association offers Terrarium Workshop

On June 3 from 10:00am-1:00pm, The Union Forge Heritage Association will be sponsoring a lecture and hands-on workshop to create your own living terrarium at the historic Joseph Turner House and Museum. An interactive lecture and presentation on the history and interesting backgrounds of these fascinating miniature gardens under glass, starting from the Victorian Era, will be given by Master Gardener Sandy Gay in the museum parlor. Immediately following will be an instructional workshop to design and create your own personal terrarium to take home.

Plants, soils, stone and decorative figurine of your choice are included with admission to the event. Additional plants will also be available for purchase. Guests will bring their own glass container no larger than 8” diameter. Total cost of the lecture and workshop is $25pp payable at the event.
