Unsafe lane change, failure to use turn signal, careless driving, reckless driving, open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and failure to produce his driver’s license.

@ approximately 5:38 PM – Police arrested Francisco Canas, age 49 of High Bridge, NJ and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop on Old York Road. Canas was initially stopped for an unsafe lane change. The vehicle was towed and Canas was initially transported to headquarters for processing. During processing, Canas became ill and was transported to Hunterdon Medical Center by the Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad for evaluation. On Saturday, December 9, Canas returned to police headquarters and processing was completed. He was issued additional motor vehicle summonses for unsafe lane change, failure to use turn signal, careless driving, reckless driving, open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and failure to produce his driver’s license.
