VERIZON STORE AT WAL MART PLAZA BURGLARIZED PERPS CUT THROUGH WALLS

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, and Franklin Township Police Officer in Charge Dominick Zeveney have announced that the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Franklin Township Police Department are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Verizon Store located in the Wal-Mart Plaza on Saturday, May 9, 2015. According to Prosecutor Kearns, “The preliminary investigation indicates that the suspects forced open the back doors of Clinton Tae Kwan Do and the Allstate Insurance Agency in the Wal-Mart Plaza.

The suspects then cut through the walls of several stores to gain entry into the Verizon Store where they set off the burglar alarm. The suspects then fled the scene. At this time it appears that the the suspects left without any proceeds.”

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Unit processed the scene for forensic evidence. Also assisting were officers from Franklin Township, Town of Clinton, Clinton Township, Readington Township, and New Jersey State Troopers from Perryville.
