Virginia Joyce Weppler
Virginia Joyce Weppler, a long-time resident of Clinton Township, passed away peacefully at her home on January 19, 2018. She was 97.
Virginia was the daughter of the late Marion and Herbert Joyce of Mountainside. Before moving to her home on Box Hill Farm in 1965, Virginia lived in Mountainside, NJ where she was involved with the local Parent Teacher Association and was an active member of the Mountainside Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Virginia enjoyed gardening, needlework, rug hooking and freezing and canning the produce from her beautiful gardens.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband Wilfred W. Weppler and her brother Herbert Joyce. Virginia and Wilfred (Wep) had been married 73 years.
She is survived by a son, James F. Weppler of Clinton Township, daughter Janet Weppler Dodgen (Dennis) of Chesterfield, VA, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Oldham (Chris) and 2 great-grandsons, Ethan and Chance of Wittmann, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, New Jersey 08822.
