Highland Park – Local activists will rally outside district offices of all five New Jersey Congressmen on Wednesday evening to urge them to vote “no” on the GOP repeal bill that is expected to come to the floor of the House for a vote on Thursday.  The proposed repeal bill that will strip funding and protections from millions across the county and here in New Jersey.  According to the Congressional Budget Office analysis, 24 million people across the US will lose coverage.

Maura Collinsgru, Health Care Program Director for New Jersey Citizen Action said, “A plan that takes health care away from millions, shifts more costs onto consumers, and jeopardizes health care services for seniors, children, and the working poor will make health care in our country and our state worse. A vote in support of this GOP plan is a vote against the very people these Congressmen represent.”

Hundreds are expected to turn out this week at the Congressional Districts of Rodney Frelinghuysen, Leonard Lance, Frank LoBiondo, Tom MacArthur and Chris Smith.
