William D. Storz, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Middle Village, Queens, NY, May 4, 1932, son of the late William I. and Katherine Palmer Storz, he had formerly resided in Wantagh, LI, and had resided in Raritan Township since 1976. He and his late wife, Florence, also had a home in Ventura, FL.
He was employed by AT&T over thirty-nine years and was Country Manager for Southeast Asia when he retired from AT&T in 1989.
An avid boater and fisherman, Bill was a member of the Power Squadron and was an accomplished shooter and member of the Single Action Shooting Society.
A communicant of St. Magdalen Church, he was a member of Flemington Elks Lodge #1928 and the Flemington Moose Lodge. Bill was a former member of Copper Hill Country Club where he was a Past President of the Seniors Golf Group. He was also active for many years with the Boy Scouts of America.
His wife, Florence Costello Storz, died in 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Storz of Raritan Township, NJ; a son, William T. Storz of Alexandria, VA: and two grandchildren, William A. Storz of Alexandria, VA. and Cosima Storz of Richmond, VA.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by inurnment in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
