HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ – William Kopaciewicz, 92, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Lopatcong Care Center in Lopatcong Township, NJ.
Born September 2, 1924 in Alpha, NJ, William lived in Holland Township for over 60 years. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School and served in the US Army as a combat engineer during World War II. He worked as an electrician in the Lehigh Valley (IBEW Local Union 102) for 44 years. William was known for helping everyone.
Son of the late George and Lafry (Polna) Kopaciewicz, William is survived by his daughter Linda J. Kopaciewicz of Fairhope, AL, his son William D. Kopaciewicz and his wife Martha of West Newbury, MA, his two grandchildren Sarah and William T., and his sister Helen Defenbaugh of California. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 48 years Julia K. (Delikat) Kopaciewicz in 2002, his two brothers, and five sisters.
Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
