Wilma M. Cox
Wilma M. Cox, age 91, of Clinton, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, NJ.
She was born on March 11, 1924 in Middle Valley, NJ and has been a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County.
She was the daughter of the late Patsy and Sally Manfra.
Her husband, John T. Cox, passed away in 1997.
Wilma was a Special Machine Operator for Commercial Dress Factory Inc. in High Bridge, NJ for 36 years, until their closing in 1980.
She was a past-member of Califon Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, doing crafts and sewing.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Barbara A. Landon and her husband Donny of High Bridge, NJ. 1 step-daughter; Frances Wise of Somerville, NJ. 3 grandchildren. 2 step grandchildren. 5 step great-grandchildren. Several step great-great grandchildren. 1 sister; Laura Burd and her husband Lindy of Lebanon Twp., NJ.
Predeceased in addition to her husband by 1 daughter; Elaine Gares, who passed away in 2008 and 10 brothers and sisters.
Calling hour will be Friday, August 28, 2015 from 11am to 12noon. Followed by a Memorial Service at 12noon. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private.
