WOMAN WITH XANAX FORGETS TO PUT CHILD IN SEAT

On Wednesday, October 12, at approximately 1:10 pm, an officer stopped a 2006 Suzuki Reno operated by Christina Bibbs, age 27, of Newton, on Route 31 North near Moebus Place for failing to maintain lane and after observing a child passenger that was not in a child restraint. During the stop, the officer observed Ms. Bibbs to be overly nervous and discovered her to be in possession of thirtyeight (38) Xanax pills that were in a container with someone else’s name on it and related drug paraphernalia. Ms. Bibbs was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Child Restraint. She was released ROR. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s drug-sniffing K-9 assisted.
