Workshop offered on Voting by the county clerk

“Everything you always wanted to know about Voting but were afraid to ask”,” a free workshop, will be presented on Saturday, Jan. 30th in the Historic Court House, at 71 Main Street, Flemington.

The course will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. No snow date is scheduled.

This workshop presented by the Office of the Hunterdon County Clerk and the Hunterdon County Board of Elections is intended to provide answers to common questions asked each election cycle by you the voter. With interest in voting in the  upcoming 2016 Presidential Election, topics to be covered include Voter registration, party affiliation, early voting, use of a voting machine, overseas and military voting, student voting, who can be in a polling place, the tallying of the votes and much more.

This is a perfect opportunity to share in a civics lesson on voting with the young adults in your family.
