The Youth Employment Services (Y.E.S.) is a free program f unded by a
grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. T
he program identifies out of school
youth and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24
who reside in Hunterdon or Somerset counties and are in need of
services. The program offers career training, case management, and a
workforce-training grant for vocational education up to $4,000. For those who
have dropped out of school, the YES program will assist them in obtaining their

support, providing them with a case manager to foster leadership and maintain

“When I started the YES program, I was a mom of a three-month-old baby.
The YES program gave me the tools I needed to get myself to where I wanted to
be in life. I am grateful for this program and to the people who worked with me,”
says Nicole T., former YES candidate.
It offers out-of school, struggling youth and young adults between the ages
of 16-24 an opportunity to get their life back on track with no expense to them.
The overall goal of the program is to provide youth and young adults with the
